Slate Run Publishing is an independent book publisher based in upstate New York. It takes its name from Slate Run, Pennsylvania where the editors’ family once made its home.

Slate Run Publishing is dedicated to finding unique voices telling slightly off-center stories. We are not interested in chasing trends or following formulas. The editors’ tastes range from literary fiction to fantasy to science fiction to thrillers. A well-told, professionally written story is more important than genre labels.
